Eaglevision Recently Recognized in the Media!

EVM Recognized by IBM and Awarded IT Scholarship:
Eaglevision has partnered with IBM since January 2011.  Together EVM hosted free computer training instructed by volunteers from IBM staff.  The partnership was birthed to celebrate IBM’s Centennial Celebration.   Throughout the partnership job seekers were offered training in various computer related areas to increase each individual’s computer skill set and ability to secure employment.  As a result of the impact these trainings have had both on the participants and the trainers, Eaglevision was awarded a scholarship to increase its technology and creating more opportunities for additional training. Ken Heard of Global Business Services of IBM, recently wrote, "Chuck and I had the pleasure of hosting Dr. LaClaire Bouknight and her team from Eaglevision Ministries today at our IBM Michigan Delivery Center. I was very pleased to present her with an IBM grant related to our IBM Centennial event, and the volunteer work that IBMers performed with the folks that rely on Eaglevision Ministries for technology related training. It was really wonderful to see the training and support that IBMers provided, and to know that people in our community directly benefited from it.
