Youth Mentors Needed!

Our mission is to train and disciple individuals and families in successful and prosperous Godly lifestyles free of drugs, alcohol, and self-defeating behaviors. We purpose to educate and train people of all ages in activities of daily living, money management, positive parenting and family competency, educational excellence, job readiness, optimum physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual growth and maturity. Our goal is that every person impacted by EVM will line up and walk in their God-given destiny.

Eaglevision Ministries is a faith-based non-profit 501(c)3 social service organization formed in 2003 to bring help and hope to ex-offender women, their families, and communities. The addition of talented and visionary personnel, funding sources, and one-on-one work with our target population has helped build the initial program into a much larger organization which is continually growing and expanding as the needs of our participants becomes more evident.

Eaglevision's flagstaff mission is our workforce development programs. These programs include ex-offenders, dislocated & Adult workers, high school youth ages 17-21 & displaced homemakers. We share our vision with you for an Evangelistic Center which will house class and counseling rooms, computer lab, medical & dental offices, resource library, and offices. Alongside our Evangelistic Center will be a Transitional Housing Center for single women, focusing on safe ex-offender female housing. Our transitional housing will feature dormitory as well as apartment-style living quarters for our participants as they successfully complete program requirements.

The Vision of Eaglevision. The original vision for Eaglevision Ministries was to offer transitional housing for ex-offenders. Today Eaglevision owns and operates one transitional house and operates out of three different locations.

Eagle Facts. Eagles have a strong affection for their young. They show it by protecting and providing for them, as well as by educating them and teaching them to fly. The mother stirs them out of the nest and flutters over them showing them how to use their wings. She even has them lay/fly on her wings till they have learned to fly upon their own. Source: Matthew Henry

  1. Eagles can see forward and to the side at the same time.
  2. Eagles have sharpness of vision four times that of humans.
  3. At 1000 feet, eagles can see prey over a three-mile area.
  4. Eagles pair with one mate for life.
  5. Eagles use the same nests for years.
  6. Eagles don't flock. (Quote: H. Ross Perot)
  7. Eagle parents take turns in the nest while eggs incubate.
  8. Eagles spend three years educating their young, sometimes fluttering to rouse them up from their comfortable nests.
